God daddy past away on 1st Aug 6am-Sat. I was attending the funeral for 5 days and studying for my coming exam.

On the way to sch, I received a called from my God mom. She says God Dad seems weak and cannot make it soon..
So I decided to visit him together with the rest of my relative so I skip sch today.
He is at home already, he was admitted to hospital last week, he's still able to talk when I visited him in hospital. BUT now his situation got worst and God mom says he cannot eat and he had been sleeping for the past 2 days already. He got no energy to walk and the moment he eats he will feel pain in his intestine. God Dad is suffering from intestine cancer. Think it’s the terminal stage already. I felt very sad, wanna cry but I dun wanna make god ma sad so I hold on to my tears. God dad is so so so skinny now. He had lost more than 20kg. His hands, legs and stomach are all bloated!
Make me feel so sad…. They told me, he is waiting for the time to come.

*I don’t feel well in my heart, I keep sensing something will happen* ~ What’s going to happen??? I am scared!!

Our advance celebration was special this year. Haha. We invited my 'coming to be mother in-law" along. We order alot and ate till wanna puke! ENJOY~ * I did not manage to take alot of photos because i am too busy eating * haha~

I fail my my Marketing Exam!! Got to re-take & it is costing me $60.
I curse that stupid old aunty to FAIL! She gave me and Kerlyn the wrong tips to study for this exam. kerlyn found out after exam when she was smoking and chatting with the other classmates & she told me. No wonder; all those i studied did not appear in the paper! I STUDIED all the wrong tips..WTF!! Curse that black hearted woman!
(She managed to past both papers and asked me why i failed my marketing paper, she thought i m gd in my Marketing) WTF!!!! Trying to say LJ words to me.

Today is Monday morning (20th April). It’s my Birthday week but yet not in a mood for anything. Really no mood!
BUT, I still gotta thanks those who really make an effort to help me celebrate.

1. Ah dear ask me to keep myself free next, next Fri because his parents are meeting us for dinner at - No sign board -
(I asked: Y dinner suddenly? Wow, what occasion?)
(He replied with a funny look: Ay, it’s your birthday lor!)
*LOL* Can u imagine I almost forget my Birthday!!!

2. On 12th (sun) while I am studying for my HRM exam. My bestie text me asking what I want for birthday, I say a simple dinner will do J and had arrange meeting her this week

3. On 17th (Fri) My boss asked me when I m free for a dinner/ lunch (Birthday celebration).
*Guess this week is too busy for dinner/lunch*

4. Today (20th) Monday, my mom text me asking me to go over on Sat for a gathering for my Birthday! Initially, I did not want to go over because I don't not want them to give me anything or buy me any Birthday cake etc. She say well, then take it as a normal gathering; I agreed to go.

Yesterday after dinner; Peiyu acc me to 1 of the bridal shop for viewing. The staff there are very friendly and Uncle Quek (1 of the boss there) is very honest. He showed me the package price list and the staff there showed me some of the gowns. They are very welcoming ! I quite like their service attitude and OF COS they are not pushy! Too bad.. It's already late so I don't really have time to try on gowns. Uncle Quek asked me to view more Bridal shops then decide and if i want i can make a appointment to try on gowns and to bring ZJ down as well..

I tried a few gowns today!!! After all i still prefer the very soft look and clean cut gowns. Package prices are all about the same BUT i don't really like some of the gowns after trying on.
Di gio customer service is good, they brought me up to view & try on many gowns. French is able to neg the package price. My Dream wedding is out of my burget. i wedding not bad too... They let me try on the gowns i like (soft and clean cut). Customer services not bad and they did throw in some more stuffs. SO after this 2 days , i have shortlisted 2 Bridal shops.

Today, Zj and I went to work part-time as a flyer distributor.

It's for my boss's friend who is setting up a pilates studio at Holland C.C. We were paid $100 each for completing 5000 copies!!

Money is hard to earn lor~

We started from Holland area at about 4+pm, then was told to settle 6 Ave area too.
GOSH! When we were at 6Ave it's already dark (7+pm). Some houses there looked so "haunted" lor, heard dogs barking and with steep slopes and limited lamp post! I am wondering why rich people like to stay at this type of places....So SCARY!!! So i called my boss and tell her, it's not possible to settle the whole area of 6 Ave. So we changed target to Ghim Moh. After Ghim Moh still 1000+ copies are left! We headed to Queenstown and slowly we walk home.

We reach home about 11pm! I am so tired.

I think my leg sure cramp tomorrow!

We met my coordinator today to sign the T&C and $deposit. Package given to us is at a good deal! I like the bird eye view of the hotel when i am standing outside Vanda ballroom (foyer). My coord is a very nice lady & she show us around the ballroom, wedding favour and even the themes~She clearly explain every details to us and willing to take in the needs and wants from us!!!. MM is very flexible with their peaks. Well, new themes will be out in Jul this yr, just in time for my wedding. Frankly speaking, the themes & deco are nice. Zj & i have the same taste when we look through the themes! Zj says, if i find it too little for the deco, he is willing to top up a little more cash to make me happy and comfortable! (this can be arrange with the florist).

We plan to have not more than 24 tables. (22+2 - max).

As usual, we went down to the market to buy breakfast. He bought duck rice and I had malay rice.

On the way walking home~~~ 1 side of my slipper give way!!!! Oh my god!!!
At 1st, I tried to walk very slowly dragging my slipper.. Then Ah dear says I am walking too slowly. So we exchange slipper. (His size is only 1 size bigger). He had a hard time trying to walk fast & to keep that slipper on his feet. LOL, LOL. **Looking at his clumsy act and penguin walking style; make me laugh like hell** Everyone who walk pass us will definitely look at his feet. Lol~ Feeling embarrass for him, I change back to my broken slipper; and I told him I believe I could manage better! – Walking and dragging .. Walking and dragging…. Ah dear said he had an idea~ I was told to wear his slippers and the next moment I saw my slippers flying across me… He threw my slippers (far, high) away! OH GOSH, I stare blank at him ~ How is he going home!?? He smile and walked on “I will walk home like this” . I walked quietly behind, feeling alittle guilty and sweet inside my heart. Walking on the road full of tiny stones & heat; ah dear did not complain.

Finally, both Exams are over! I think I will fail my accounts paper this time. I cannot balance up all the questions and my brain cannot twist during exam. DIE liao.. Results will be out only in late Jan or Feb 2009. Haiz. PRAY HARD,

Well.. I am quite excited about seeing master this coming Monday (15/12/2008). We will have our date
for wedding in 2010. YEAH! Wondering; will the master says 2010 is not a good year for us & suggest we postpone it to 2011 (ok.. Hope not..) Finally, I see Zj putting effort, thinking and make arrange for our wedding preparation..”Though it’s still a little early to prepare…”" he says he wants to count the expenses and budget" Well.. I am a lousy Accountant.. I think and feel he is ready for it. I think his mom is also mentally prepared . She sat down and talk to us, give suggestions and help us to check on hotel rates etc.. 2009 will be a tough year for all of us. When I see everyone in the family is excited and willing to give & take, makes me happy too. I feel, the goal in a marriage is not about thinking alike BUT to accept each other suggestions and think together. After all, it’s not only involving 2 people, it’s 2 families. Hope everyone can compromise and make things easier for us.

Currently taking Principles of Economics(POE) - Every Wednesday & Financial Accounting 1(FA1) - Every Friday.
Recently, i am so fucking busy with Econ Test and project. My Econ sucks; got to study very hard in-order to pass. Guess what, my 1st econ Test score only 31.5/50 -_-" and with the help of my classmate-Ning. 1st Financial Accounting 1 Test score 11/15, never study at all and copied Ning's from question 1 to 15. Haha.
Well.. Got to put in more effort already. Having econ 2nd test tomorrow. ( Topic: Econ & Accounting Profit, Market structure etc.) It's only 2 topics and i am dying due to the lots & lots of formulars .. SUCKS!! -_-" OMG, Both Project due next wed (22.10.2008) & Fri (24.10.2008). The worst is i am having my 2nd FA1 Test on 24.10.2008(Fri)

Some how; I cannot SEE this world clearly. I cannot understand, cannot see, cannot feel a lot of things. I don’t know how to explain. Can I say: “LIFE IS MEANINGLESS”? Though I am happy I had settled some problems, Ah Dear won lucky draw during his annual Dinner & Dance and played mahjong throughout the weekends. Some how; there are still many doubts in my mind. I don’t wanna tell anyone (even Ah Dear) about my feelings yet I felt uncomfortable. I did badly for my ES test yesterday. I score 23/30. It’s a hard paper though. Having my QS test tomorrow & yet I cannot understand some of the topics. What the hell! It’s so fucking stressful to work & study at the same time. I am getting so tired; how I wish I can take a break for like 1 month~
Ah Dear’s having training almost everyday this few weeks & he seems tired too. He got to wake up at 7am & training will start only around 8+9pm & ends at 11pm. He will reach home about 12am+. We hardly had time for each other this week thus I am having tests. I think I will try to accompany him more next week.
Our 6th year anniversary is getting near: 23/06/2008 (Monday), I think he has got training.. HOW are we going to celebrate?

I am so Happy. Ah dear is buying me a proposal RING! He asked his dad to check on the price for a 0.3 carat diamond. “0.3 carat is want I asked for”. See..I am not greedy! “You’re lucky man; I din ask for 1 carat hor.. Ah dear” HaHA~ His dad has his own business (Handling all services for jewellery). We believe asking him to buy materials & design a ring for me would be cheaper, compare to outside. So our wedding band would be make by him also J After checking, he dad told him that he had a good grade 0.4 carat diamond on hand now and asked if he is willing to accept it at $2100 (just the diamond only). Diamond + material = $2400. Compare to outside, it’s definitely cheaper a lot a lot I guess…. He din charge us the cost for services. HeeHee.. Ah Dear agreed immediately. I am so anxious but I still got to wait for a few more months for it to be done. This is what I wanted for all these years; I will wait patiently for it.

Finally, I went back to NDC to remove my stitches today. It's the handsome dentist again.. He is so caring*faint*, so handsome, so gentle, so gentleman, so chaming, so "lady killer" ......... BUT my cute, tiny, funny, weird, alien Baobei is the BEST (100%). "Er xin"? "Thats call... erm.. LOVING.."If that handsome Dentist operates his own clinic, i sure visit him once per month. Supporting hor? LOL. Got this thingy from him today:

Wisdom Tooth Surgery

This is my 1st wisdom tooth.

I went SGH (National Dental centre) for a wisdom tooth surgey at 2pm.

It's a scary experience to go though.

Firstly, the handsome dentist checked on my medical history. He told me that normal people had only 1-2% BUT for my case i had 23% on getting numbness on my tongue and lower gums for the rest of my life. It was due to the deep tooth i had which is very near to my main root. I am aware of it, so i signed the letter. He is handsome, cool, tall & a joker too. He is friendly towards his staffs also. Hmm.. But my Alien Deardear is still the best. *lalala*

I was sent into the day surgery room, followed by him. He came in and did 4 injections into my gums. He was good at comforting people, that made me really follow his steps and felt not so nervous and painful. After 4 injections, my lower lips, half of my mouth felt numb. To ensure that i am alright, the handsome dentist asked me gently: Recruiter Shirley, can i know what's your company's name? Immediately i shouted: Job Channel International Pte Ltd. The nurses and him all laugh.. -_-" The dentist then said: This girl ar.. then kept laughing.

He went out.. The nurses start covering me up. I told them i felt very cold & i am shivering hard. They past me a hot water bottle for me to hold and covered 2 blankets on me. Maybe i am too nervous. Then after resting for 10 mins..i heard his foot steps!! I knew it's starting soon, i began to shiver hard again. My body got tense up and i kept telling myself, it will be over soon.
It's really him as i heard him telling me: Wow, Shirley! You are so stylish, you have got Gold nails.. (which i painted my nails super gold 2 days b4).Then i laugh.Maybe he is trying to relax me. He then told me: We are STARTING!

Cutting, pushing, pulling and DRILLING ....Oh my GOD~ He kept talking to me, comfort me by saying"You did well, don't worry i saw your main root. I am going to remove your tooth now". Ah dear was waiting for me outside; it gave me great encouragement. Everything was done by 1 hour plus. Thanks god. I am OUT at 3.45pm~ The Senior nurse brief me on the medication etc. She return me my tooth and asked me to kept it as a souvenir hahaha..

Now... I wish to recover fast!!! I am on 5 days mc and will be back to work on Monday~
